Ardsley Pals is the 5th and 6th grade program program operated by the Ardsley Children’s Center.  Registered with the Office of Children and Family Services, Ardsley Pals meets all fire, safety and health requirements set forth by New York State.  Ardsley PALS operates independently of the Ardsley School District and is funded by parent fees, fund-raising and private donations.  Governed by a Board of Directors comprised of parent volunteers, the program’s overall operation is carefully monitored to ensure the safest and happiest environment for all children.

The program is a recreational and study time program designed to serve the needs of Ardsley’s youth.  It operates from school dismissal until 6:15PM each school day (with the option of a 5:00PM pick up time).

The program is structured so that children have the following opportunities:

• Quiet areas for completion of homework and/or reading

• Hang out area for games and leisure time.

• Area for sports and active play.

In addition to the program’s own activities, children can also participate in AMS after school activities. Children report directly to PALS at dismissal to check in and then proceed to their scheduled activity.  Once their activity has been completed, he/she should return to ARDSLEY PALS and check-in with one of our employees.  Parents will be responsible for informing Pals of what school run activities their children will be attending.
